Mini Christmas House Tour

Happy Monday, everyone! With Christmas only 3 days away, I thought I would share a couple of photos of how I decorated for Christmas! With this being our first Christmas in our house and still getting situated, the decorations are very minimal. I didn't want to spend much money on holiday decorations seeing as we still have furniture and other home related items to purchase. Even with the insignificant amount of decorations,  I still love how it turned out and am so excited to be spending our first Christmas together in our own house!

Enhanced a plain strand of garland by adding lights, cinnamon pinecones, and votive candles I owned. Love how it looks and smells!

Our tree might be pretty small this year, but I love it's glow at night!

This year I went with bows and kraft wrapping paper for under the tree!

We kept Paul's family's tradition alive with  "snooper" bells at the bottom of the tree that ring if people are under the tree trying to snoop at their presents. I'll admit, I'm known for snooping:)

Made some pillow covers out of red stripe napkins to add some Christmas colors to our sectional.

Filled up a blank wall by adding a framed $1 gift bag from target, a small christmas tree and some extra pine cones I had left over.

Didn't do much differently to our bedroom except for change out the accent pillow and throw.

I also made this pillow cover from fabric remnants I found at Hobby Lobby.

I kept the kitchen table simple with this lantern.
The most adorable Christmas cookie jar that my mom got.

I kept my office decor very simple with just a tree, candle, and some extra ornaments I had laying around.

Oh and it wouldn't feel like Christmas without holiday movies. Bought our first one! Look forward to adding the Polar Express to the collection next year.

I hope you enjoyed my minimal Christmas decorations! Paul and I are wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!
