End Tables for Under $100

Accent pieces are important when it comes to the design of a room because it helps to give the space a more finished look. When it comes to designing a room in our house, I'm willing to spend more money and invest in large quality pieces of furniture like a couch, but for accent pieces I like to find items with the design aesthetics I want but with a more affordable price tag. During the design process of our family room, one piece of accent furniture I didn't want to spend much money on was an end table. At stores it is somewhat easy to find affordable laminate wood end tables, but finding metal and glass type end tables that are more cost effective can be difficult to locate. I've spent many of hours online searching for side tables over the past few months for our family room, and I thought I would share with you  today some of my favorite metal and glass ones that I've come across and that cost under $100.

Lamp Lookalikes For Less

When it comes to putting a room together, there is one thing that can often but overlooked but is very important to consider when creating a comfortable and inviting space. That often overlooked thing that I'm referring to is light. The best way to use light in a room is by layering it. One way to do that is by using different light sources. It's also very important to consider the type of bulb used as well. Bright white lights can be very harsh to the eye. I prefer the soft white lights because they make the space feel much softer. Our family room has all recessed lighting, so I'm planning to use table lamps to help layer the lighting in the room. As many of you know though, lamps can be very expensive. During my own search for a table lamp I came across several lamps that look very similar to the lamps sold at the well known home furnishing stores , but cost only a fraction of the price. Here is a list of lookalikes that I've come across so far (Note:my lookalike comparisons are based on the lamp base, not the lamp shade since most shades are sold separately anyways). And of course the beloved HomeGoods is also a great place to find more affordable lamp options.
